Reverse Vending?

reverse vending

Interesting article in the latest Springwise newsletter about “reverse vending machines”, created via a partnership between Stirlingshire Vending and Reverse Vending Corporation in the UK.

As the name implies (well sorta), these machines accept empty beverage containers - essentially serving as a souped-up version of the Household Recycling Plant we talked about a little while ago.

Sounds great to me! I’m constantly frustrated by the lack of public recycling bins.
Hopefully we’ll see much more of this sort of thing before too long!

To learn more about reverse vending, be sure to check out the Reverse Vending Corporation website.
