Eclectic by Venturi – The 1st Energy-Autonomous Vehicle

Do you want to be noticed on the road?
If you answered yes, then the car for you is the Eclectic car from Venturi of France.
According to the company’s website, “this is not an ordinary car, but an avant-garde way of getting from one place to another by exchanging one’s role as a “consumer” for that of a “producer” and this, in the general interest.” They further mention that the Eclectic, is the first autonomous vehicle in the history of the automobile. Its low energy consumption makes it the most economical environmental vehicle ever built. The concept behind the Eclectic is awesome and I hope that their business model is successful. I am sure their designs and technology will inspire others to create new vehicles as well.
Out of all the new cars I have seen over the past few months the Eclectic is definitely the most unique looking. It looks like it has come straight out of a sci-fi movie. The Eclectic is the first solar production car and has the ability to recharge its last generation NiMH (NIV-7) batteries using wind generation.
