Scientists Close In On Cheaper Fuel Cell
Interesting article in ‘The Daily Californian’ about fuel cell research sponsored by the US department of Energy.
Scientists were able to create a fuel cell catalyst that uses a cobalt compound rather than the typical platinum catalyst. Although further research is needed, this is could be a potentially huge boost to the fuel cell industry, allowing fuel cells to be produced for considerably less money.
Should be interesting to see how this one pans out.
