Home Depot EcoOptions - “Improve Your Home and the Environment”
I just learned (via EcoNews) about an interesting new magazine from Home Depot Canada called EcoOptions. It’s available online via the website (not sure if there is an offline version), and looks like a great resource for learning about green Home Depot products, and green living in general! I was very impressed with the size and appearance of it (over 80 pages, full colour). Given the fact that the current issue is called Fall 2006, I suspect it is a seasonal publication.
The only negative thing about EcoOptions (as pointed out by EcoNews) is the fact that it is buried deep within the Home Depot Canada website, with no mention of it on the homepage. You would think they’d be proud to announce such a cool new feature.
Something else that surprised me is the fact that the U.S. Home Depot site (.com) does not seem to have anything similar.

Hopefully this is only the first of many green initiatives at Home Depot!

Hello, just wondering if you have a copy of the Fall 2006 Eco Options magazine in PDF format. I was looking at in on the Home Deport Web Site and they indicated that it is available in the store. So I figured I would pick it up the next time I was there. To my surpise the Fall 2006 was replaced with the spring 2007 release. The FAll 2006 guide had a number of items that I was going to implement in my house but cannot now since I can get that release.
You would think that Home Deport would keep back issues on the web site since the engery saving suggestions are still valid.
I called Home Depot and got lost in their corp. help desk where everyone transferred me to somone else to see if they could help.
